POSITION: Dental Assistant - LEC 

 

PAY GRADE:  2 

 

HOURS: Monday - Wednesday 7:30 am to 6:30 pm or as needed. Primary work location is at LEC. Position may require travel between sites and additional hours as needed. 

 

DESCRIPTION:

Full-time position assisting the dentist in providing dental treatment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment.  Ability to prepare patient for dental procedures, assist dentist with procedures and document procedures in patient charts.  Ability to perform x-ray procedures.  At least one year experience required. Dental assisting certification preferred.

POSITION: Care Team Assistant: Fayetteville

                                                           

GRADE:  3-7

 

HOURS:  Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM pm or as scheduled.

 

DESCRIPTION:

Full time position responsible for performing check-in procedures, reviewing medications, and providing appropriate education.  Works closely with providers and other nurses including but not restricted to keeping electronic medication lists current, performing patient care procedures, and ordering necessary lab work based on treatment protocols.   

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of medical principles and skills necessary to assess the need for, provide and evaluate patient care and treatment.  Knowledge of diagnostic, examination and treatment room procedures, and patient education principles to assist in the development of an individual self-care program.  Skilled in using various types of medical equipment.  Graduate of an accredited program of medical assisting.  Certification or Registration preferred.
