Immunizations
- Our pharmacists are trained to immunize patients and recommend the proper CDC protocol.
- Walk-ins are welcome. Some vaccines are scheduled by appointment to minimize waste.

Diabetes Education
We take diabetes education seriously. Our CDCES and team of advanced trained pharmacists are ready to help patients at all stages of their diabetes needs. Whether you are prediabetes, newly diagnosed, unmanaged, or have new complications associated with diabetes, we are here to help. We work closely with your provider to help you reach your goals and manage costs.

Tobacco Cessation
Our pharmacists are Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists. These credentials help our pharmacists work with patients on strategies, methods, and motivational skills to decrease or stop tobacco use and improve health. Our pharmacists work with providers after interviewing patients to recommend the best method for each patient. We all work together to improve the patient’s health.
Medication Therapy Management
Our pharmacists review your medications, your health history, and immunizations to help you achieve the best care possible at no cost to you. We do this by phone or by appointment, often in partnership with your insurance company. These reviews update your medication profiles, help save you money, can request refills, eliminate duplicate therapy, and give you one on one time with a pharmacist for any questions you may have. This is a free service we offer for your BEST health!
Sliding Fee
New River Health patients who qualify financially may benefit with lower prices. These prices are determined by family income, family size, and patient status at New River Health. Our pharmacists and technicians can help you with details and help you qualify for savings.
