Too often, women put their health care aside in order to care for others. NRH works to help women keep healthy through every stage of life, regardless of the challenge. During pregnancy, NRH offers prenatal care including a consulting Obstetrician. After the baby is born, they are a welcomed patient through their life. NRH sponsors MIHOW/Parents As Teachers, in which trained parent/child health educators do home visits and connect family to needed resources at no charge. Women’s health screenings are scheduled throughout their lives on-site with medical and ancillary services, and by coordinating referrals for exams such as mammograms.
